SETEM Catalunya launched its Fair Electronics Campaign in 2016 with the main goal of supporting the rights of workers in the global electronics industry, protecting the communities most impacted by the sector’s practices, and advocating a fair and sustainable model for electronics.
- To reach the campaign’s goal, we primarily focus on denouncing working rights abuses and environmental impacts inherent to the current electronics industry, and on increasing visibility and strengthening alternative consumption patterns already present within the frame of the Social and Solidarity Economy and Technological Sovereignty.
- To achieve these goals, the campaign promotes a wide range of actions, working together with a large variety of actors.
